Kathalaya, in its endeavour to make learning a joyful experience and strengthening teacher resources, is proud to announce the launch of the 'Academy of Storytelling'.
Experts in the field of Storytelling and Education have developed the course contents after intense research and field experience.
We have Basic and Advanced Certificate courses at our center.
Basic Course Content
The course will train teachers, parents , educators and counselors in topics that cover the essential base of taking storytelling into education, storytelling techniques, extrinsic and intrinsic qualities of a storyteller, gestures, use of chitrakathas, toy theatre, mask making, origami, clay modeling, puppets etc and will involve project presentations at schools.
Advance Course Content
- Theme based content- Japanese stories, emotions, elements.
- Use of Bamboo, puppetry, Shadow Play, Origami etc; in keeping with the theme.
- Project presentations.

Those who would like to take storytelling professionally, empower themselves in the art of communication, teachers who want to enhance their skill, theatre personalities, students, counselors, parents, housewives, corporates.
